An Inspiration Behind The Mission
The inspiration and courage behind this mission is my father, Shri. Dipak R. Gajerawala. Many may not know him but those who have known him and met him once in their life, they have always had sweet and memorable remembrances of him. A humble soul, born on July 15, 1949 in a small town Rajpipla in Gujarat, and retired from State Bank of India as Chief Manager (Vigilance), Ahmedabad (Gujarat, India) in July 2009. He was enjoying a very happy, healthy and peaceful retired life until September 2017. It all began when so called almighty had laid out some ugly plans for his life that neither himself nor his family and friends had ever imagined. At the age of 68, he was diagnosed with one of the deadliest form of Brain Cancer called High Grade Glioblastoma Multiforme (GbM). He fought his ugliest battle of his life called cancer for 9 months with a cheerful smile on his face at all the times without letting anyone realize how much pain he carried with him self within and finally cancer won one day. He took his final breath the night of June 26, 2018 at 10:10 PM IST. We dedicate this initiative for all those suffering from Brain Canceer in his fondest of memories. We are taking his battle against cancer forward with even more aggression and positive energy. -Nirav D. Gajerawala
